4. VERIFICATION

4.1 Classification of inspections. The inspection requirements specified herein are

classified as follows:

a. Qualification inspection (see 4.3).

b. Conformance inspection (see 4.4).

4.2 Inspection conditions. Standard conditions shall be a temperature of 72 �4 �F and a

relative humidity of 50 �20 percent. All tests shall be conducted at standard conditions unless

otherwise specified.

4.3 Qualification inspection. The qualification inspection shall consist of all the

examinations and tests specified in Table II.

4.3.1 Health/hazard assessment (HHA). The product shall be evaluated by the Navy and

Marine Corps Public Health Center (NMCPHC) using the administrative Health Hazard

Assessment (HHA)(see 6.4).
